Nevada Lake 18

Lake 18

A view of Lake #18 from the northwest corner facing southeast.

This lake covers 7 surface water acres and the average depth is 1 to 10 feet deep.

Decoys can be placed near the shore with chest waders and a retrieving dog is a bonus to retrieve game.

Layout boats and make shift blinds are welcome but life jackets are mandatory.

Located 6 1/2 miles south of the Four Rivers wildlife area both ducks and geese are abundant when Four Rivers is holding birds.

During the early teal season a lot of members bring their fishing rods and 8 shot to fish and dove hunt in the afternoon.

This is Al, he's famous. Only his friends knows how he can hunt like this, not just once, but throughout the entire season. The canoe is a give away they hunted from a lake. The broad valley and timbered ridges show it is in Missouri. Al doesn't care that others find out where he hunts, he'll even tell us, you and anyone that wants to know. Al can get these results wherever he hunts. He is just one of those amazing hunters we would all like to be just as successful.
