Duck Gallery 6

Mallard DuckThis hunter, Frank J., hunts several of our many farm ponds and does as well as our waterfowl habitat managed properties.

We are highlighting the farm pond and watershed lake duck hunts as it is a greatly underused resource and produces many un-pressured ducks and geese.

True self guided duck hunts.

The issue most waterfowl hunters have is which impoundment to hunt. This is where a hunt on your own organization diverges from a guide service. In our case for those hunters that can hunt on their own they will literally have too many places to cover. Compare this to a guide service where the hunters are being cycled through the same wetlands or blind daily. The difference is pressured versus un-pressured ducks and geese.

First year member Gaylan H. didn't have any trouble finding where to hunt.

No Excuses

This is Mark A., his son and another member. Mark has seen the good and the bad having experienced one of our worst waterfowl seasons the previous year to this photo and now this season has memories for a lifetime.

Our duck hunts are exactly 100% natural. There are good days and we have our bad days. Boom years and down years.

Even though limits do not happen every day, every duck hunt day is hunting and not just shooting. No competition, good ground, the fun of friends and just being out there means more than a full game bag anytime.
