More Than Managed Wetlands To Duck Hunt

An early season morning pond duck shoot in Kansas from a pond that cannot be seen from the road and found by these two hunters during spring turkey season.

While most duck hunt the managed wetlands several hunters add variety to their hunts by getting out on the multitude of ponds and watershed lakes available through out Association properties. These same water bodies are available for fishing and all part of hunt on your own approach to our private lease land.
More from these two buddies.

Al hunted with the Association for three years while stationed at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas and was transferred to Korea for two years. While in Korea he reminisced what fun he had hunting Association lands, went through his photos and sent in a lot of pictures. We think we have captured here all the pictures other than the ones he has in other sections of this website.

Have a good look at Al's pictures and hope him well in Korea where it is all work and no hunting.

Nice warm early season hunt to start off the waterfowl season right.

Not enough room to post pictures of all his turkeys.

Hard core cold weather waterfowler when most folks stay home.

Wrap up the season with a late snow hunt.

One of those especially good goose hunt days when the entire field of hunters shot well.

The coyote came by while standing in some cattails on a farm pond during a duck hunt near a waterfowl refuge.
