About Us

Duck lease

MAHA Waterfowl

What we at MAHA offer is a greater chance of mitigating costs though expanded opportunity to hunt where the ducks are as we have multiple wetlands in multiple regions of Missouri and we cater to only those capable of do it yourself duck hunts.

The second aspect of our cost mitigation is that we charge a fair price for access to all of our wetlands, blinds, wade-in and layout boat areas. In short we have over 800+ acres of surface water, 30+ covered permanent blinds, several wade-in and layout boat areas as well as watershed lakes to hunt all season long, to include whenever the migration may peak.

Within the confines of the Lower Missouri River Basin under the Mississippi Flyway we offer more flexibility of where to hunt and when to hunt than any other option to be found on private wetlands. We mitigate the cost of do it yourself duck hunts through expanded opportunity.

Ducks and something more important

Note on the picture back: "I've killed a lot of ducks in my life, but watching your son follow and really enjoy doing it, is the greatest yet."

Daniel

Picture note: "The prize of the year. This is the first band I've taken in ten years. My son was with me and made it even that much more special. I can't wait until he gets his first."

Thanks guys. Always good to see parents and children sharing the day. The future of the sport of hunting is in the hands of our future generation such as Daniel. We're proud to provide hunting to the entire family and wish you guys many enjoyable years to come.

The majority of avid Mid-West waterfowl hunters hold back until it gets cold for the mallards to arrive before they get serious about their duck hunting.

Shallow water vegetation which is plentiful on the majority of MAHA managed wetlands attracts a variety of ducks throughout the season.

Our Missouri wetlands duck hunts are all available each season on a telephone reservation basis and no hunter is ever denied the opportunity to duck hunt. Have a review of our private Missouri wetland duck hunts through wetlands aerial photos and water level blind pictures.

Duck hunters will find the testimonial section, duck blind discussions informative and down into the nuts and bolts of the value we provide the do it yourself duck hunter through reduction of the logistic work load. Our duck gallery contains a collection of duck pictures and hunter details.

Waterfowl hunting includes goose hunts during regular, late and spring seasons. Field sets as well from several wetlands will yield as much goose in the freezer as most hunters will care for each season. Our goose hunts section shows what others have found successful at running their waterfowl season longer through the year.

Diver ducks receive little recognition from the average Midwest duck hunter, but the beauty of several species will rival the best of the puddle ducks.

Below are photos of a drake Bufflehead and a pair of Goldeneye.

Diver ducks tend to frequent larger open water than puddle ducks, which puts them in a region of club land that is underutilized, but provides quality duck hunting for those willing to hunt on their own without a blind.

Anyone who has encountered the whistle from the wings of a flock of Ring-Neck's or the erratic maneuvers from a flock of Bluebill's twisting through the wind will testify hunting diver ducks are the ultimate challenge for the duck hunter who enjoys fast action.
