Cass Waterfowl Lake 5 Blind 5

Front view of the blind posted on the shore of lake #5. The blind is covered with rippy grass and has a flip top front which naturally blends in with the stubble behind the blind.

The blind faces east and the lake is surrounded with 300 acres of crop stubble. The crop field behind the blind is a good location to place a large or small field goose spread.

For those with goose floaters, this is a prime spot.

The view from looking within the blind out to the shooting pool.

15 acre lake, 8 miles as a crow flies from the Settles Ford Wildlife Area and an easy 30 minute drive from KC.

Chest waders are required to put out decoys and retrieve game. The shooting pool is 2 to 3 feet deep, but the lake is 20 feet deep in the deepest area.

The lake is stocked with catfish, bass and crappie which gives the hunter a back up during teal season if the action is slow.

The lake as seen from the dam.
