Cass Waterfowl Lake 2C

Pond 2C covers 12 surface water acres and is over 1/4 mile in length. The lake is surrounded with corn and bean stubble and is a hunt on your own property without blinds for the waterfowl hunter that likes to set up on his own.

The lake requires chest waders to set out decoys but over 10 feet deep in the center of the lake.

Being only a 30 minute drive from KC, this is a convenient location to the local hunter for a quick morning or afternoon hunt before or after work

This is an ideal location to place duck decoys in the water
and shell decoys in the stubble field behind.

The property is on the Settles Ford Flyway which attracts a lot of ducks and geese, especially late season snow geese.

"Just as the migration was getting strong a lot of local family groups and small flocks were flying about in several directions. Some came in and others went on by ignoring our best efforts. All together we had a great day and the dog had more work than he had earlier. It really fired him up. It was his first goose hunt. Try as I did I could not get a good retrieve picture, just too much action."
