Duck Blinds 4

Blairstown Lake on the Big Creek Flyway

A lot of our hunters enjoy volunteering to build and cover duck blinds prior to the season.

Generally two boat loads of Rippy Grass and Pin Oak limbs cover one blind.

The after look.

All the hunter must do is hunt.

Blinds have room for multiple shooters.

Good blinds, good wetlands, good hunt.

Big Creek Flyway, Urich Missouri

This blind is located on an 80 acre marsh adjoining Big Creek between Blairstown and Urich Missouri.

This marsh has consistently produced ducks and geese for generations.

This is one of our water level controlled wetlands that can be planted in Japanese Millet or Milo and later flooded for the ducks. This property is evenly divided between flooded timber, open water and flooded natural vegetation, all with blinds.

Duck hunting open water area with duck blind.Like most duck attracting wetlands the river changes this one yearly. Waders are absolutely necessary for all hunts. Boats are not required as the flood plain is managed by our levees to allow wader access to all shooting areas.
